Just a quick post with a bunch of pictures this week. I am doing a big event tomorrow and promoting shopping at MMP. Funny how I was asked to create a couple gift baskets for the event and this Pink Friday is called In the Basket! LOL
Joyce Schwarz wrote a book on vision boards. It's called The Vision Board /The Secret to an Extrordinary Life.
The first is a basket with a copy of her book in it and a bunch of goodies representing MMP on my vision board. The money goes to cancer victims and I wanted to pass my vision on to someone who needs a new out look. I love my board but I felt it had a higher purpose.
Second is a Booby Trap with a evening bag from Barney's of New York and a crystal heart trinket box with Pat's pot pourri spread in the bottom.( lesson for those doing photos.... don't photograph basket with the cellophane on them. Big shine issue. Do photos before cello. Learn from my mistakes . LOL)
And last are photos of what I call Happy Pillows. They are big, fluffy and soft. I have used documentary prints of vintage fabric in rich linens. I love them ,they make me happy. I love to give them to people when they need a lift.
I have a question. I have more of each of these fabric. I was thinking of making slip covers for my site out of the fabrics. Easy to ship. Great way to repurpose and old bed pillow.
Have a great week. Hope to see you all at the shop hop....hopping and shopping! November 2 through 13 at http://www.makeminepink.com/ blessings, Lilli

Love the pillows...I have a pillow fetish! I think stuffed is better unless they fit a certain size pillow form...but I know shipping is an issue...I had a woman who made pillows for me...shipped from Texas...I would get 20-30 of them...shipping did not seem to be too much...I would not want to stuff though...I would rather have it...can you ship in heavy plastic?

Wow Lilli,,everything is just gorgeous!!! I love the vision board. So Pink! The gift boxes, just beautiful and I love the fabric choices on the pillows! Happy creating my friend..luv,gail
I think the slip covers would be fine. Just right to update seasonally just like furniture.
HI Lilli, really love the vision board set....and of course, everything is beautiful
The baskets are great, look terrific. On the pillows, I'm thinking they have to be stuffed or else it's a pillow case.

Your gift baskets are really lovely. How nice of you to give up your vision board. I would offer the pillows in a standard size so the customer can easily get their own filler. You could also offer them with or without the pillow form.

Hi....your pillows really are happy....and I would be extremely happy if I purchased one and it arrived already stuffed....I know what you mean about being easier to ship just the cover, but I think stuffed just gives opening the package that WOW! factor. :)
Hugs,
Debbie
PS: Just read Jennifer's comment.....offer them either way is a great idea!
Hi Lilli! Great basket of goodies! Thanks for the clue about the cello and picture taking. That would be something I would do. Live and learn.

wow, deb...you have lots on your plate these days. how sweet that you are donating for such a worthy cause. kudos to you.
As a custome, I'd probably rather have the stuffed pillow but I can understand very well how much easier it would be to ship with out the stuffing.
The gift sets look amazing! The booby trap one is just beautiful! I love the pillows too. Very pretty. I would offer them either way.

Lilli,
How touching that you would give your vision board to someone who can benefit from it. I'll have to check out that book too! Thanks for posting about it!

Hi Lilli,
Your photos are so beautiful. The basket is lovely and the colors on your pillow are very beautiful. I think that a filled pillow would create more of a WOW factor, whereas a pillowcase, no matter how lovely the fabric would not cause the same excitement! You might try offering them both ways with different prices!! Ah decisions, decisions!!!
WOW I am overwhelmed how awesome everything is I thought you were bringing one small basket. But I must admit I'm still trying to figure out how you are going to 'slip-cover' your site! I haven't even figured out how to print out my site let alone cover it with something so gorgeous -- maybe some computer wallpaper might be easier LOL -- I AM SO GRATEFUL TO YOU! YOU ROCK, Joyce Schwarz, THE VISION BOARD PS maybe we can share a preview of the book with your readers-- its so gorgeous that they deserve to see a bit of it! Talk tomorrow js.
Hi Lilli,
Wow, those gift baskets are just beautiful and packed with goodies!! I bet they are going to be real popular!

Love the pillows Lilli. I think stuffed is better because there are so many different sizes out there.
